Continuing to Build

For anyone who was there, you know what a great event we had on Friday evening at the Golden Curry Restaurant in Kent, Washington. It started off as an opportunity to thank all those who have put together fundraising events for me or who have called friends and helped raise money for the campaign. We also included all those who have “maxed out” to the campaign.

Not only did I have a chance to visit in person with everyone but many supporters brought new friends. By the end of the evening, we raised another $11,000! We’re on target to reach our fundraising goals for the first three months of the campaign and we are actually spending less than our budget calls for. Again, none of this would be happening if it weren’t for the support of so many people who are looking for a change in direction from state government.
